Cavitation

Cavitation

Cavitation is a non-invasive method for effectively treating cellulite without surgery. Used in the medical and aesthetic fields, cavitation uses low-frequency ultrasound waves to break up (clasps) fat cells. The ultrasound waves propagate in the tissues, generating expansion waves (negative pressure) and compression waves (positive pressure); this pressure difference creates gas bubbles in the liquids present. Subsequently, the absolute pressure outside the bubbles increases, causing them to implode and the fat cells to clump. The fats are promptly metabolised by the body’s disposal systems, through the passage of interstitial fluid to the lymph nodes. Cavitation only affects the fat cells, as the cells that make up the other tissues (muscles, vessels, etc.) are more resistant and do not suffer any damage from the implosion of the bubbles.

Equipment:

It was created after careful research into the application of the principles of ultrasonic cavitation in the aesthetic field, which have demonstrated its effectiveness in treating cellulite and panniculus adiposus.
